Rob has just returned from the UK where he has heard some very encouraging stories from Journeys users. Check out what Richard and Kate Colbrook of Leys Community Church had to say:
"There are plenty of excellent evangelistic courses out there. However, many non-Christians are increasingly asking different questions to the ones the courses seek to address. It's as though these courses start on the 4th floor, when our non-Christian friends have only just walked into the lobby.
So what do you do with those contacts of your own, or the friends of someone who has just been saved? Well, in our church we've been using a DVD series called Journeys and we feel it answers the questions many people are asking.
Of the 30 non-Christians who saw Journeys in one year in one of our churches, 29 of them are now saved members and the remaining member still attends a cell group.
James is one of those saved and this is what he had to say. 'Journeys was an eye-opener. It's an inspiration for anyone - you don't have to be a Christian for it to affect you. I became a Christian during Journeys. God's taken me out of darkness and misery - he really has saved me and keeps on doing it in my life.' "
