The Feedback

I have shared with a lot more people about my faith because I have had this available to use. Many thanks and blessings. – Gail, Faithway Christian Centre

We are now using Journeys as the first 5 weeks for a new home group because it is so non-threatening and open and encourages people to contribute without having to feel they may say the "wrong" things. Jim, Bethlehem Community Church

Momentum was definitely building by the 5th Sunday. We were just starting to touch some in our community. That will continue. Some of our church family rose to the challenge and also 'caught the vision' of reaching out and inviting seeker friends to the small groups and/or to the seeker services. We are now appointing a Journeys coordinator. There are a good number of seekers who have started the Journey to the line of faith. Thanks for including us in this initiative. It’s been really really great. We have loved serving God in this way at this time and we look forward to meeting people in eternity as a result of this initiative. May God continue to give you heaps of vision and boldness. – The Team at Welcome Bay Baptist

The Journeys stories are awesome. We have a number of people now going to use them on a one to one basis. - Tauranga Worship Centre

It helped to make people in the congregation aware of the importance of reaching out to the unchurched. It broke down fear barriers for some people. Some people are now prepared to show the Journeys videos in their own homes to the unchurched. Some are telling others in different parts of NZ about the videos, and recommending that they use this wonderful resource. Gail, Faithway Christian Centre

People were interested and impacted by stories that confirmed similar testimonies they had previously heard or experienced themselves. It stimulated great conversation, enabling discernment of where people were at spiritually. The established Christians in groups were enthused to show the Journeys series to others. – Lorraine, Abundant Life Church

The feed back from the small groups involved it was very good. The ones that had no seekers in found that that there was a lot to talk about. Journeys inspired them and encouraged to reach out into the community. The youth also went through Journeys and in their small groups found it to be useful, relevant and engaging. Simon and Rob, St Peter’s In The City

A couple from the UK were really touched by the Holmes night. It really brought up the issue of faith for them. It was worth it just to see how they opened up to the possibility of something beyond them. (They were very emotional) Jim, Bethlehem Community Church

When a 19-year-old girl missed a Journeys night, a leader suggested the video being shown in girl's own flat. When she arrived, the leader discovered 7 girls in their late teens and a boyfriend waiting to watch the Journeys video. The group has continued through and is currently watching the Life Stories series. – Lorraine, Abundant Life

Thank you Rob for all your work and commitment to the Journey's Initiative. It really did creative excellent discussions and awareness (and many tears) and seeds to be watered. - Lyn, Grace Community Church
